Freecycle.org

This is a nonillustration topic, but I thought it was a really neat concept. Ever wondered what to do when you only have a few items to get rid of but not enough for a garage sale? Well, check out www.freecycle.org. You maybe surprised to see how many folks in your area are participating. The concept is that you join your regional group via yahoo, and then as a good will jester you list an item that you are trying to get rid of. Then the members of the group have the option to take it and pick it up. In turn they list items and you can take them as well. Nice way to get rid of the old, and avoid filling those landfills. Only advice, is that you want to avoid having folks pickup items from your home, just never know. Check it out.

Feeling Better!

Finally feeling much better, the doc diagnosed me with bronchitis. I had been told to wait a few more days before going because they thought it might just be a cold. But the persistent coughing & fatigue continued, so I went to the doc and got some antibiotics, I feel like normal now. I want to thank everyone for their concern and checking in. It is much appreciated. I hope to start getting back into my blogging and illustration work!

Too Sick to Blog

Oh boy, it hit me like a mac truck this week. A cold or flu from out of nowhere. I can barely think or move, and it seems like forever since I last posted. I hope to be up and moving soon, and back to my routine. Unfortunately, with most colds you invariably pass it on to the spouse. So poor guy is suffering as well. Hope to be back soon.
