I had to share this funny site that an illustrator friend sent to me. It made my day, and reminded me of the funny little things I used to believe as a child. The site was created by Mat Connolley and it does a wonderful job of reminding one of what it was like to be a kid. The illustrations are done by Jesse Speak. Love the cute drawings. Illustration Friday - Tranquility

I decided to get on board and participate in Illustration Friday. I'd heard so much about it. I decided to post an illustration that I did for WeeOnes magazine a while back. I would liked to do something original for this topic but lately things have been so hectic.

Red Nose Studio

I had to share this illustrator's work which I'd recently come across and grown quite fond of. His work is a wonderful 3D world that he creates entirely and photographs. His name is Chris Sickels, Red Nose Studio. His work is so surreal and has a unique quality and detail to everything. Check out the moving pictures on his site.

Harry Potter Half Blood Prince

I've been nursing another viral/cold thing again and have been away from blogging. It seems like I get better from one ailment and another comes sneaking along. It has given me time to get back into some reading, and we picked up a copy of the new HP book "The Half Blood Prince." It has been an awesome read so far. Doing reading out loud at nights by candlelight have added to the mood and feel of the book. On chapter 13, and can't wait to get home to read more.
