Summer Shorts

I recently finished a freelance assignment for a small independent publisher. The creative freedom was wonderful. I hadn't worked in pen and ink for some time and it was a nice change of pace. Going back to an old medium or picking up a new one has a way of refreshing the way you see your illustration work.

Holiday Sketch

So sad to see the holidays almost coming to an end. I've been busy with life in general and that is the reason for the lack of posts. I hope to get back into the regular habit of posting more news and insight on my blog. In the meantime here is a sketch of an elf I worked up.
