Photo Printers

I've been doing research lately on tabloid size printers. My need to purchase one has been necessary for a while but with the freelance design work I've been getting, I really need to buy one. A recommendation from graphic design buddy, Nikita Prokhorov. Canon I9900 photo printer. I was reading online reviews on various sites: amazon, eopinions, and cnet. Got overall great reviews. Soon as I get my freelance check I'll be purchasing one. Note, in the future Canon is starting a new line of photo printers that prints archival prints. Supposedly 100 years plus under glass. I will be looking at those reviews closely when that line comes out in 2007. For illustrators this maybe a great way to bypass using a printer for giclee prints.
