Chris Van Allsburg Interview

This weekend I had to opportunity to watch the movie Zathura, based on the picture book by Chris Van Allsburg. In the special features portion of the DVD, there is a great interview with Chris Van Allsburg. He goes into detail about his thought process and how he works.

Red Cygnet Press

I came across this publishing company. It's a great opportunity if you are a student in college. Red Cygnet Press, and they are based out of San Diego, CA. They are looking exclusively for submissions from undergraduate/graduate students from all over to submit their stories and work.
I wish I were still in school, and able to take advantage of such an opportunity.

Slowly but surely

It's been forever since I last blogged. My son has been sick for the past month. On again off again with one upper respiratory infection after another. I feel so bad for him at his age he can't really communicate. I hope that there will be some time when he won't be so ill.

I had plans for various projects and none of them started. I hope to be more focused this weekend.
